The Holy Families
Families are the miniature forms of the Church. When families are holy life of the Church also becomes holy. So Christeen conducts Christeen family retreats for the sanctification of Families. It helps them to enjoy the sweetness of family life and become happy
Christeen family Retreats are unique. Here all the members of the family take part together in the services. They live together and pray together. All participate in the same Holy Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Holy rosary etc.
Christeen family retreats have helped very many families to regain their lost happiness and become families of God. Classes are arranged according to their age. Parents will have separate classes. Kids will go to the Angels' group. and elder ones to different groups according to their age.
Christeen Family Retreats help members of the family themselves to understand more intimately. Thus the relations become more strong especially Parent-children relations. They are helped to stand together. Thus they become a holy family where happiness permeates.
On the first day of the retreat, talks are given on the subject of good parenting. Family life is a divine call. Parents are told how to live their vocation. How to be a good husband and wife. The day concludes with special prayers for the sanctification of family life.
On the second-day parents are given classes to be good parents. They are introduced to the generally unknown problems of children. They are prepared for a healing service of the family relations. Parents and children are given opportunities to share freely their problems. They are given chances to interact among themselves on the problems affecting their families. They are prepared to forgive each other and for asking forgiveness from others. The day concludes with the Holy family anointing service.
The third day is on the Holy Spirit-filled family life. They are also taught how to do missionary work. The retreat concludes with each family professing " for me and my house, we will serve the Lord'' (Josh. 24:15)
